LONG Description
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am dedicated to supporting pregnant and postpartum women and young children and their parents as they navigate the wonders and awe of life as well as challenges experienced with a growing family. I focus on the power of relationships, creating a safe and open environment to work through the developmental milestones and the struggles of these significant life transitions. I use reflection and an attachment and mindfulness lens to strengthen the parent-child relationship and to develop resiliency and heal from difficulties, grief and trauma.
I bring over two decades of experience to my work focusing on the intersection of infant, family and early childhood education and mental health. As a life-long learner, I earned my Masters in Social Work from University of Southern California. I trained at Kaiser in an integrated Child and Adolescent Psychiatry department, in school based mental health and at Child Parent Institute. I am a graduate of the Napa Infant Parent Mental Health post graduate fellowship through UC Davis, am EMDR trained, have completed Child Parent Psychotherapy training, the Postpartum Support International certificate course, Triple P parenting and trauma focused Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics Phase I program with Dr Bruce Perry.
