LONG Description
I utilize a parent support and education model that is based on attachment theory and neuroscience research. I am passionate about helping parents nurture the connection they have with their children, offering tools to manage the challenges, and finding ways to reduce stress so parents can better be there for the young people they love.
My background includes treating trauma and healing childhood wounds utilizing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and DNMS (Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy) and supporting grief and loss (hospice counselor 2003-2016). I am fluent and literate in Spanish.

Utilizo un modelo de apoyo y educación para padres que se basa en la teoría del apego y la investigación de la neurociencia. Me apasiona ayudar a los padres a fomentar la conexión que tienen con sus hijos, ofrecer herramientas para manejar los desafíos, y encontrar formas de reducir el estrés para que los padres puedan estar mejor allí para los jóvenes que aman.
Mi experiencia incluye el tratamiento de traumas y la curación de heridas infantiles utilizando EMDR (Desensibilización y Reprocesamiento del Movimiento Ocular) y DNMS (Estrategia de
Brindar por Necesidades de Desarrollo) y apoyo al duelo y la pérdida (consejera de cuidados paliativos 2003-2016). Soy fluida y alfabetizada en español.
