Leadership Circle




In March 2014, RECAMFT was voted the number #1 chapter in all of CAMFT. In February 2018 we won the CAMFT Chapter Excellence Award for Best Community Involvement and Outreach. In 2024 we won the CAMFT Chapter Excellence Award for DEI (251+ members). 

We did this by have an extraordinary group of volunteers. Our Board of Directors and Committee Leaders meet on the third Friday of most months from 9-11 am. ALL members are welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings.

RECAMFT honors two important leaders! 

Dr. Bob Casanova, PsyD, LMFT is a RECAMFT member, and served six years on the CAMFT Board of Directors, including as its 2017-2018 President. On June 7, 2019 RECAMFT honored Bob for his service.

Doreen Van Leeuwen, LMFT is RECAMFT's 2019 President. In April 2019 she received CAMFT's most prestigious award, The Mary Riemersma Distinguished Clinical Member Award. Here is a Power Point created for an awards presentation by RECAMFT telling about her accomplishments.
