LONG Description
I specialize in trauma/PTSD including childhood traumas and related issues (depression, anxiety, grief), and life changes that challenge our very sense of self and identity. I work with adults - individuals and couples. I offer a sliding scale fee based on household income.

I work primarily using strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, but also use Narrative approaches and Solution-Focused Brief therapy as appropriate. I bring Briere's Self Trauma model into PTSD work, which integrates cognitive, behavioral, and psychodynamic perspectives with existing theories of trauma, including developmental traumas of childhood.

Having worked at Sonoma County's rape crisis and trauma center for almost 8 years, and with survivors of domestic violence at the Family Justice Center, I have extensive experience working with trauma including developmental trauma, and am familiar with all of the ways it presents in (and disrupts) a client's life and relationships.
