LONG Description
I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and active in several chapters in the Bay Area. I am a Psi Chi Honors Scholar. Part of the ongoing licensing process includes requirements for education about new developments in methods and practice to help clients heal. In addition, I am a lifelong learner and an avid reader and an active member of a large and thriving family and community.
I come to this work from a background in consulting—which I realized often involved individual counseling. I have worked in for-profit companies in management positions as well as small business. I also worked and have served as an officer in not-for-profits. I have been a manager and director and have worked for them as well. I have done many service jobs in my pursuit of an advanced education. I received an undergraduate degree from Mills College and a Master’s of Science from Dominican University.
This breadth of experience, advanced education and familiarity with multiple roles in work and in relationships is important—because you want a therapist to bring broad experience and a wide array of skills to help you heal and become resourced for your future.
