Movie Night with RECAMFT: Watch HER in Sebastopol 

Date: Thursday, June 18

Time: 6pm to 9pm

Location: Sebastopol private residence, address to be provided week of event 

Come watch the movie HER with colleagues and friends on a large screen in a beautiful barn. This is a real barn with chickens and goats. We will have pizza and drinks and movie snacks, but you are welcome to bring your own! Please bring a folding chair and a blanket (the barn is unheated) and be aware of the animals.

The movie
HER follows Theodore Twombly (Joaquin Phoenix), a lonely man who develops a relationship with an artificially intelligent operating system (Scarlett Johansson). 

Afterwards there will be time for a discussion of intimacy, loneliness, and the nature of love in a technology-driven world. This event continues to explore the questions that arose from our May 3rd event "AI in Mental Health: The Good, the Bad, and the Dangerous" presented by Dr. Rachel Wood.
